Sun & Moon
Balance the suns and moons. Never three in a row.
How to play Sun & Moon
Fill every square with a sun or a moon so that:
- each row and column has the same number of suns and moons,
- there are never three of the same symbol next to each other (across or down),
- two squares joined by = are the same, and two joined by × are opposite.
Controls
- Tap a square: empty → sun → moon → empty. Right-click goes the other way.
- Grey squares are given and can’t be changed.
- Keyboard: arrows to move, S sun, M moon, 0 to clear.
Tips
- Two of the same in a row? The squares on both ends must be the opposite symbol.
- A gap between two matching symbols (sun _ sun) must be filled with the other one.
- Once a line has its half of one symbol, fill the rest with the other.
- Chains of = and × let you link squares: if one becomes known, the whole chain is known.

Questions
Is Sun & Moon the same as Tango?
It uses the same rules as the popular Tango-style binary puzzle (also known as Takuzu, Binairo or 0h h1). Kind Puzzles is independent and not affiliated with LinkedIn — it simply lets you play as many boards as you like, every day.
How many puzzles can I play?
Unlimited. There is one shared daily puzzle (new every midnight) and an unlimited mode in Easy 6×6, Classic 6×6, Hard 8×8 and Expert 10×10.
Does every puzzle have a unique solution?
Yes. Each board is generated and then verified by a solver to have exactly one solution, and the clues are trimmed so no guessing is needed.
What do the = and × signs mean?
= between two squares means they hold the same symbol. × means they hold different symbols (one sun, one moon).
Do I need an account?
No. Everything runs in your browser and your streak is saved on your own device.
